What is "economy class syndrome"?
Prolonged sitting during flights can reduce blood circulation in the legs, causing stiffness and swelling. It can also increase the risk of deep vein thrombosis (DVT), commonly known as “Economy Class Syndrome” Medical authorities recommend that passengers walk as much as possible during flights to prevent this condition.
